Empowering out-of-school youth and adults with accessible, technology-driven education and real-world opportunities in the Philippines.
LEARN MORE ABOUT USKLIK is a social enterprise that tackles the problem of school dropouts in the Philippines.
"Did you know that less than 10% of the Philippine population had university degrees? Did you know that more than 40% of Filipinos do not have a high school diploma? This is the hidden problem of the Philippines and probably the root cause of systemic poverty, unemployment and lack of social order."
KLIK will provide high school and college dropouts options to get back on track, a chance to shape a better future through targeted interventions:
Mobile/online education to earn a high school diploma.
E-learning modules based on the Department of Education’s (DepEd) alternative learning system (ALS) curriculum. Students learn at their own pace. Enrollees can get their diploma by passing DepEd’s Accreditation (A&E) exam, or through a partner school.
Meridian International (MINT) College is a partner of KLIK. Learners have the option to enroll Grades 11 and 12 to get Senior High School (SHS) diploma in MINT College.
Addressing the lack of employability skills and readiness for work.
Curated workshops focusing on personality development, communication skills, good citizenship, work ethics, and financial literacy.
Partnerships with TESDA and other training institutions design special courses (customer service, digital media, computer skills, hospitality, welding, etc.). For BPO companies, interns use MINT College’s curriculum and facilities.
Internship to bridge employers and job seekers.
Internship or on-the-job training (OJT) is the most effective job search strategy. KLIK’s program finds out the specific needs of employers to provide interns with the right attitude, training, and academic background.
This reduces high employee turnover for companies and gives hands-on experience to learners.
When individuals drop out of schools, they learn many things from their everyday experience. KLIK will work with different experts and institutions to establish the assessment and accreditation of prior learning for out-of-school youth and adults.
KLIK will engage trained career counselors to continuously find a good match between the needs of the employers and career choices of the interns. This forms the foundation of our effective internship program.
We expose and broaden the world-view of Filipino learners to improve critical thinking. KLIK learners will have learning partners from other countries, such as students from UC Berkeley in California, USA, preparing them for the global economy.
KLIK stands for: “Kapakanan ng Lahat Inuuna Ko”.
It started as KLIK Akademy in 2010 where over 10,000 people were trained in community-based technology training programs in Taguig, Navotas, Bulacan, and Cavite, in collaboration with MINT College. We sought to create parity in education by bringing the latest technology courses to the marginalized.
KLIK believes that building the proper foundation for this country means preparing our students for what lies ahead. We believe that through our programs, teacher resources, online education guides, and strategic partnerships, we can elevate educational excellence and make a difference in the future of our people.
A country with educated and productive citizens where there is a safety net for those who drop out of schools.
"We believe that all of us have the potential for greatness but it is our own fears that hold us back. Fear blinds us, paralyzes us, and makes us run away from our dreams."
Education makes people easy to lead, difficult to drive; easy to govern, impossible to enslave.
Everything we do supports our objective of making our students prepared for the jobs and careers of today and tomorrow.
Our vision is to transform our nation into a model for development. We do this by leveraging partnerships and resources for technology training.
KLIK believes in preparing our students for the future, committing to the skill sets needed in today’s technology-oriented world.
We reward experimentation and taking risks. We prioritize hands-on projects over lectures, letting students discover their own skills.
Technology brings costs down. We care that our students get the best education at the lowest price possible, regardless of status.
